Influenced by a lifetime of adventures around the world and exposure to the wisdom of ancient cultures, Julian has been blessed to have shared in the music and storytelling of those people who recount their history, traditions and beliefs through their songs. "These songs are true stories that leave the listener empowered and inspired. I have found my purpose in spreading this good news through my music and photography. As in life, much of my songwriting includes the unexpected. I use alternate guitar tunings, play various instruments, some of which are quite ancient, and occasionally include sounds of nature that I have recorded while immersed the wilderness."-JC Mr. Charles is a resident of Elkin, NC, a local expedition guide, singer/songwriter, and Photography Coordinator at the Sawtooth School for Visual Art.
